The short version: we collect as little as possible, we don’t track you, we never sell your details, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
What we collect, and why

Please don’t send us anything more personal than we need. In particular, we don’t want details of anyone’s sex life, health or preferences, and the forms don’t ask for them.
What we don’t do
- No tracking, no analytics profiles and no advertising cookies.
- We never link your searches to you or build a profile of you. When a search turns up a website we haven’t checked yet, we note the search words that found it, so a real person can review the site. That note isn’t connected to who searched.
- We never sell, rent or trade your details.
Cookies and your browser
We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. When you confirm you’re 18 or over, your own browser remembers that choice (a small note stored on your device, not sent to us) so you aren’t asked again on every visit. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data.
We count visits anonymously using Koko Analytics, which runs on our own website. It uses no cookies, doesn’t identify you and shares nothing with anyone else. It simply tells us how many people visit each page and which websites sent them.
Who else handles your data
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site, and only share what they need:
- Hostinger: hosts this website, stores form sign-ups, and provides our email. Like any web host, its servers keep short-term technical logs, including IP addresses and the pages requested, for security.
- Brave Search: our own checked listings always come first. Only when we don’t yet have enough of them to answer your search do we send your search words to Brave’s search service, to fill the gap from the wider web. We send the words only, never your name, email or IP address. Every result found this way is still reviewed by a real person, and any that don’t meet our standards are removed from our results for good.
- Google Fonts: supplies the fonts on this site. Like any website, your browser shares your IP address with Google when the fonts load.
Where any provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or other legally approved safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Early-access list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you, and in any case no more than 12 months after launch unless you stay subscribed.
- Business enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless we go on to list you.
Adults only
SecretEntrance is strictly for people aged 18 and over. If we learn that we hold information about someone under 18, we delete it.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to have it moved to another provider, and to withdraw consent at any time. Just email hello@secretentrance.co.uk. We’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we change how we use your data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we’ll tell people on our email list.
